Next in the lineup were the blackjack tables, where I quickly located Blackjack Party by Evolution. This is the variant of the game for players looking for a bit of banter, as you get not one but two live dealers. There’s a lot of conversation happening as you play the game. For me, I found the talking to be rather distracting to the gameplay, and besides the constant convo happening, I didn’t see this variant offer anything else outside of the usual side bets. If you’re feeling lonely and want to play blackjack, this game might be for you. 

Live Baccarat

Every section of Winz.io’s live casino is packed to the brim with games, even the baccarat section. Peek Baccarat is another popular game from Evolution where you can “peek” at the Player or Banker cards for a 20% fee. The rest of the rules remain the same as you bet on either hand which will be the closest to 9 points. 

Baccarat isn’t a hard game to play once you know the rules, and Peek Baccarat actually makes the game a lot easier to pick up on which hand is most likely going to win. It’s not the most exciting live dealer game, but payouts are good here.

The game is loaded with multipliers and re-drops, and it’s exciting and fun to play. But it’s actually really neat to see the character of Gonzo in this 3D environment. Evolution has done similar things with Mr. Monopoly in the past, and I just love the innovation they have when it comes to creating these game shows. 

Sic Bo

When I hit the section of the live casino featuring Sic Bo games, I opted for Dragon Tiger Live by Pragmatic Play. There are only five Sic Bo games to choose from, but it is rather a niche audience, in my opinion. This game plays out like a faster variation of baccarat, but instead of betting on the Banker or Player you are placing wagers on the Tiger or Dragon, and each hand only receives one card. The hand with the highest value is the winning hand. 

Talk about your games of chance. You really feel like you got a 50:50 shot at choosing correctly here. As such, it’s nearly impossible to have a real strategy in playing Dragon Tiger. I didn’t really enjoy this game because of this factor, but there are markets out there where this is one of the most popular games.

Other Card Games

Our last stop at the live casino is the section labeled “Card Games” where Winz.io keeps all their poker variations. One such variation is Evolution’s Side Bet City, where players make wagers on one of four potential outcomes.

You can see the forecasted predictions of each race before you place your bets, and you can place multiple wagers. I was disappointed that you don’t get to actually see the dogs racing. Instead, numbers randomly spin on reels to determine the outcome.
