Provably Fair Crypto Casinos
You lose eight dice rolls in a row and start to wonder whether the casino picked them. Provably fair crypto casinos let you check. The casino locks in each result before you bet, and you can prove afterward that it wasn’t changed.
But there’s a catch. At most casinos, provably fair only covers the in-house originals, like dice, crash, and plinko. The slots and live tables run on a lab-certified RNG instead.
So every casino below gets the same treatment. We say which originals you can check, whether you set your own client seed, and where the verifier sits. And since provably fair says nothing about getting paid, we also picked from the crypto casinos with quick withdrawals that we track.

- Welcome bonus: None
- Provably fair: Every Stake Original, with your own client seed and third-party verifiers
- Games: 3,000+
- Min deposit: No minimum
- Payout speed: Not published
Plenty of casinos explain provably fair in a paragraph. But Stake shows its working instead. Its fairness pages walk your client seed, server seed, nonce, and cursor through HMAC-SHA256.
So Stake publishes the code behind every Original, and anyone can rebuild the check.
Your browser creates a client seed at sign-up, but Stake recommends setting your own. Rotate your seeds, and Stake reveals the old server seed for you to check. Stake runs under a Curaçao license, and its fairness docs point you to community verifiers outside the site.
BC.Game – Best for Low Minimum Deposits

- Welcome bonus: Our exclusive $5 no deposit free chips, code gamble5
- Provably fair: Over 35 games on the fairness page, plus a built-in Validate tool
- Games: 7,500+
- Min deposit: $1
- Payout speed: Not published
A $1 minimum deposit means you can test a seed check for pocket change. And BC.Game accepts deposits as low as $1, so beginners can test a few rolls before committing real money.
Its fairness page covers over 35 games, from dice and plinko to video poker and blackjack. Dice results come from HMAC-SHA256 run on your client seed, the nonce, and the server seed.
But crash works differently. BC.Game generated a chain of 10 million hashes and releases them in reverse order, with the algorithm on GitHub. BC.Game holds an Anjouan license.
BitStarz – Best for Fast Payouts

- Welcome bonus: Our exclusive 152% up to 3 BTC + 180 free spins
- Provably fair: In-house Originals with your own client seed and a built-in Verify tab
- Games: 7,000+
- Min deposit: $10
- Payout speed: Almost instant, with a one-hour target for manual review
A verified result only helps if the winnings reach your wallet. BitStarz targets one hour for manual withdrawal checks, and most crypto cashouts land almost at once. BitStarz now supports Bitcoin over the Lightning Network, which makes small Bitcoin payments faster and cheaper.
The 18 BitStarz Originals include dice, blackjack, roulette, crash, and an in-house slot. We opened the Dice fairness panel in demo mode.
It shows your client seed with a Change button and the hashed server seed. It also counts the bets made with that seed pair, and a Verify tab sits alongside. BitStarz holds a Curaçao license.
Roobet – Best for Provably Fair Crash

- Welcome bonus: Our exclusive 100% up to $1,000, 30x wagering
- Provably fair: 14 Originals, with a Verify Results tool for crash
- Games: 6,700+
- Min deposit: $10
- Payout speed: Not published
Crash is the one original where your own client seed doesn’t count. Every player shares one result per round. So Roobet ties each crash round to a future block hash instead.
Roobet hashed a server seed 2 million times and plays the chain backward, one hash per round. The client seed is a crypto block hash. Roobet commits to that block before anyone mines it.
So neither side could have chosen the outcome. Just paste a round’s server seed into the Verify Results tool to check it.
Roobet’s terms list the US as restricted, and KYC is mandatory. The fairness page covers 14 Originals, including Mission Uncrossable, Towers, and Plinko. Roobet runs under a Curaçao license.
TrustDice – Best for Provably Fair Dice

- Welcome bonus: Our exclusive 30 no deposit free spins, code TD_GAMBLE30
- Provably fair: Dice, Crash, and Plinko, with a built-in verification tool
- Games: 8,000+
- Min deposit: $10
- Payout speed: Instant on over 99.4% of withdrawals, per TrustDice
Dice is in the name here, and it shows. TrustDice lets you set dice odds from 1% to 95%, and the payout multiplier updates before you roll.
So you can see the house edge in every bet’s price. Its built-in verification tool checks each roll against the server seed, client seed, and nonce.
And TrustDice is the one casino here that also ties its fairness to a blockchain. Its fairness page says you can prove every bet on-chain. TrustDice holds a Curaçao license.
What Is Provably Fair?
Provably fair means a casino commits to a result before you bet, so you can check it afterward. The casino doesn’t ask you to trust it. It hands you the evidence.
But it isn’t blockchain. Most provably fair originals run on the casino’s own servers. A hash commitment, not a public ledger, is what makes the check possible.
And it isn’t the same thing as an RNG audit. Every casino game runs on a random number generator. A test lab can certify one before a game goes live.
Provably fair goes further, because it lets you check a single round yourself.
So think of it as greater transparency. A casino that hands you its seeds asks for less trust than one that wants you to take its word.
How Does Provably Fair Work?

Three inputs determine every result, and you only see the casino’s input after you’ve finished.
First, the casino creates a server seed and shows you its hash. You set the client seed, or use the one the casino provides. A nonce counts up by one with every bet.
Then the casino runs all three through HMAC-SHA256. The output becomes your roll, your card, or your multiplier.
Rotate your seeds, and the casino reveals the old server seed. Then you can check every bet you made with it.
But why does the hash matter?
You can’t reverse-engineer a hash to the seed, but any change to the seed completely changes the hash. So once you’ve seen the hash, the casino can’t swap the seed without you noticing.
How to Verify a Provably Fair Bet Yourself
You can check a bet in a few minutes with a free SHA-256 calculator. Here’s the full check, start to finish:
- Copy your seeds before you bet.
Save the server seed hash and your client seed from the game’s fairness panel. - Place one small bet.
Note the nonce, which is the bet’s number in the seed pair. - Rotate your seeds.
The casino then shows you the server seed you just played with. - Hash the revealed seed.
Paste it into an independent SHA-256 calculator, and check that the result matches the hash you saved. - Recompute the result.
Run both seeds and the nonce through the game’s published formula, or an outside verifier. - Compare it with your bet history.
The number you get should match the roll, card, or multiplier you saw.
But crash works differently. Each round has one result per player, drawn from a hash chain. So your client seed doesn’t come into it.
The Roobet entry above shows how you can check that chain.
- Gamble.io Pro Tip: Set your own client seed before your first bet. The casino’s default works, but your own seed is the one input the casino can’t choose.
What Provably Fair Proves, and What It Doesn’t
Provably fair proves the result wasn’t changed after you bet. That’s all it proves, and plenty of players read more into it.
It doesn’t prove good odds
The house edge comes from the game’s rules. BC.Game’s provably fair crash game, for example, builds in a 1% house edge. So learn how RTP and house edge work before you play.
It doesn’t cover the whole lobby
Third-party slots run on a certified RNG. Live tables use real cards on camera, and neither hands you a seed to check.
It doesn’t prove the casino pays
Wagering requirements or a withdrawal hold can still stop a provably fair win. So read the bonus terms and withdrawal rules too.
It doesn’t prove the license is real
Check the license in the footer against the regulator’s own register.
And watch the seed timing. The guarantee only holds if the casino locks its next server seed before you change your client seed. Look for the next seed’s hash in the fairness panel before you rotate.
Provably Fair vs RNG Casinos
Provably fair lets you check each round yourself. RNG certification is a lab testing a game before it goes live. Every casino on this page runs both, side by side.
| Provably Fair Games | RNG Games |
|---|---|
| Dice | Video slots |
| Crash | Jackpot slots |
| Plinko | Studio blackjack |
| Mines and limbo | Studio roulette |
So the originals carry the seeds, and the studio games carry the lab certificate. A test lab such as eCOGRA or GLI checks a studio’s RNG, but you can’t check a single spin yourself.
And live tables are a third case. They run on real cards and wheels in front of a camera, so they can never be provably fair. If that’s how you prefer to play, start with our crypto live dealer casinos.
Provably Fair Games You Can Play

Most provably fair games are casino originals that run on a single formula. Here’s where you’ll find them:
- Dice: You pick a target, and the seeds decide the roll. One number per bet makes it the easiest game to check. That’s why most players start with provably fair dice games.
- Crash: A multiplier climbs until it crashes. Every player shares one result per round, taken from a hash chain.
- Plinko, mines, and limbo: The seeds decide where the ball lands, where the mines sit, or which multiplier you hit.
- Blackjack: Provably fair blackjack uses the seeds to deal every card. So you can check the whole hand once it ends.
- Roulette: Some casinos run roulette as an original, where the seeds pick the pocket. Most wheels at Bitcoin roulette sites still come from studios and use an RNG.
- Video poker: BC.Game includes it on its fairness page. Most video poker casinos that take Bitcoin still run studio machines on an RNG.
- Slots: A few in-house slots are provably fair. But nearly every title at slot sites that accept crypto comes from a studio and runs on an RNG.
- Lottery: Some casinos publish the draw method and every result. That way, you can check provably fair lottery draws after they run.
Plus, studios like Spribe and BGaming also make provably fair titles that other casinos carry. Open the game’s info panel to see how its check works.
How to Choose a Provably Fair Crypto Casino
Check the seeds first, then check everything provably fair can’t tell you. These six points cover both:
You can set your own client seed
If the casino picks both seeds, the check means far less.
The next seed hash shows before you change yours
It stops the casino picking a seed after seeing yours.
There’s a verifier, and it agrees with an outside one
Test the built-in tool once against an independent SHA-256 calculator.
The house edge shows in the game
A provably fair game can still carry a high edge. So find the figure before you play.
The license checks out
Look it up with the regulator, not just in the footer.
Payouts are fast
A verified win only counts once it reaches your wallet.
Just know the trade-off. Provably fair games are fewer, and they’re usually plainer than studio slots.
So start with a low minimum deposit, check your first few bets, and spot-check after that. And learn how to set gambling limits before your first bet.
How We Rank Provably Fair Crypto Casinos
We rate every casino using Gamble.io’s five-star system. And for this page, we focus on how well a casino lets you check its games and how it pays.
Provably fair originals in the lobby
We count the games you can check and note the ones you can’t.
Client seed control
We confirm you can set your own client seed and rotate it.
A verifier that agrees with an outside tool
We test the built-in verifier against an independent SHA-256 calculator.
A license we can verify
We check the license against the regulator’s own records.
Payout speed
We time withdrawals and compare them with the casino’s published times.
Operator status
We drop a casino from this page once it closes or stops paying.
Here’s what each rating means:
- 5 Stars – Outstanding casinos with a proven track record. Awards, recognitions, stellar reputation, consistent positive feedback.
- 4 Stars – Well-established casinos with a strong reputation. May lack certain features or innovations found in five-star casinos.
- 3 Stars – Meet standard industry expectations. Adequate performance, but may lack standout features.
- 2 Stars – Newer casinos yet to establish a strong reputation. Limited track record or unproven user satisfaction.
- 1 Star – Significant issues or a history of complaints. Subpar experience and questionable practices.
So a provably fair label alone doesn’t earn a casino a place here. It has to pay, too.
How We Test Every Casino
We open a real account at every casino we list. We check the fairness panel and seed settings, and verify a bet with an outside SHA-256 tool. We read the KYC and withdrawal terms, time our withdrawals, and confirm every exclusive code with the casino.
Provably Fair FAQ
Is provably fair the same as blockchain gaming?
No. Most provably fair games run on the casino’s own servers. A hash commitment makes the check possible, and nothing needs to go on a blockchain for it to work.
Can a crypto casino manipulate provably fair games?
Not after you bet, as long as you check the round. A casino could pick a server seed after seeing yours, so confirm the next seed hash shows first.
Are all crypto casino games provably fair?
No. Provably fair usually covers a casino’s own originals. Third-party slots run on a lab-certified RNG, and live dealer tables use real cards and wheels on camera.
Do I need technical skills to verify a bet?
No. You copy a few values, rotate your seeds, and paste the revealed seed into a free SHA-256 calculator. Most casinos also have a built-in verifier that does the rest.
Does provably fair mean better odds?
No. It shows the result wasn’t changed after you bet. The house edge comes from the game’s rules, so check it in the game’s info panel before you play.
What’s the difference between a server seed and a client seed?
The casino creates the server seed and shows you its hash before you bet. You set the client seed. The result depends on both, so neither side can choose it alone.
Do provably fair casinos still ask for ID?
Often, yes. Provably fair covers game results, not account rules. Most crypto casinos can still run KYC checks before a large withdrawal. Read the terms before you deposit.
